CBP Delays Residue Rule Enforcement

CORRECTION to the Trade Innovations Trade Update published on July 7, 2010. U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) has reversed their decision to fully enforce the empty container residue rule that basically requires every gram of waste returned in an empty container to be reported.

The Trade Innovations web site will be updated if CBP once again reverses their decision and moves forward with new deadlines for enforcement.

Trade Innovations apologizes for this error and any inconvenience it may have caused.
